Making a donation to the Tuck Fellowship FundDonations to the Tuck Fellowship Fund may be made by cheque, credit card or direct bank transfer, as per the information provided below. In addition to sending completed forms, etc. as instructed under the relevant "Payment and Contact Details" given below, donors are encouraged to send a short email with their name and the amount of their donation to Yvonne Stokes, who will monitor progress with the Fund for the IWWWFB. This will assist us with checking that donations are received and properly credited to the Fund.
Australian DonorsAustralian donors must download and complete the University of Adelaide’s donation form. Ensure that you fill in your name and postal address on the form so that a letter of thanks and a receipt can be mailed to you. Enter the amount of your gift and under “Gift preference” tick “Fellowship”. Stipulate that your gift is in memory/honour of Professor Ernest Tuck. For a tax-deductible donation in Australia it is necessary that you sign the preference statement on the form. The University assures donors that their preference for use of the funds will be respected.
United States DonorsTax-deductible donations may be made through the British Schools and Universities Fund (BSUF), which has been approved by the United States Treasury Department as an exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3). The BSUF's Federal ID Number is 13-616-1189.
Please refer to the BSUF website, which explains how to make donations using checks, credit cards, etc. The most efficient procedure is to download the Donor Transmittal Form by clicking on the highlighted words"BSUF Donor Transmittal Form" under cash gifts, then complete and send this form to the address shown at the top of the form with a check payable in US Dollars to BSUF. Be sure to state your preference that the donation is for support of the "The University of Adelaide Tuck Fellowship Fund". Such preferences are respected by the BSUF, but all grants are made at its sole discretion, as required by the U. S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Other International DonorsThe simplest procedure, which is preferred by the University of Adelaide, is for donors to download and complete the University of Adelaide’s donation form. Ensure that you fill in your name and postal address on the form so that a letter of thanks and a receipt can be mailed to you. Enter the amount of your gift and under “Gift preference” tick “Fellowship”. Stipulate that your gift is in memory/honour of Professor Ernest Tuck. Signing of the preference statement on the form is necessary for a tax-deductible donation in Australia, but it will also ensure that you receive a receipt in addition to a letter of thanks. The University assures donors that their preference for use of the funds will be respected.
Donations will also be accepted with a suitable covering letter which provides the same information as on the donation form.
